US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention recommend daily disinfection on any frequently touched surfaces. These surfaces include things like tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. This should then help the prevention and the spread of the coronavirus, (covid 19).

The CDC also recommend the use of a detergent or soap and water on hard surfaces before using any disinfectant on a surface is a good idea. An ideal product to do this would be SYR Professional Concentrated Hard Surface Cleaner.

Should anyone in your household fall ill with any flu like symptoms, you should consider regularly disinfecting objects and especially hard surfaces in your home.

SARS-CoV-2 has been proven to survive for up to 16 hours on plastics alone. Cleaning and using disinfectant will kill off any viruses on these surfaces which again help prevent the spread of these viruses, including covid 19.

Whatever cleaning solution you do decide to use, it is good practice to let the cleaning agent stay in contact with the surface long enough to kill any viruses and any other pathogens. The time you need to leave the solution in contact with the surface will depend on the chemical that you use.

Please Note: Do not use different cleaning agents at the same time. Some household chemicals, if mixed, can create dangerous and poisonous gases.
