Faber No Smog Gel - How to Remove Smoke Stains from Exterior Surfaces

Faber No Smog Gel All Smog Smoke Stains Smoke Stain Remover Stain Remover

Exterior decoration is a great way to personalise outdoor areas and make them more aesthetically pleasing. However, in an exterior setting, surfaces are left vulnerable to the elements. These elements include smoke and smog. This is especially true for surfaces adjacent to outdoor fireplaces, barbeques and wood burners. Smoke and smog leave surfaces degraded and blackened. If this issue is affecting your exterior surfaces, here is why you need Faber No Smog Gel to remove smoke stains.

Why Faber No Smog Gel?

Faber No Smog Gel is a water-based smog and smoke stain remover.

Smoke leaves behind dirt and smog residues on exterior surfaces degrading and darkening them over time. These issues often plague facades, monuments and street furniture.
However, thanks to Faber’s innovative formula, No Smog Gel showcases high-performance stain-removing power. In fact, it gets rid of even the most stubborn smoke stains and dirt.

It is also thanks to this formula that this smog stain remover is effective on residues from combustion. Typically, these types of residues are found around fireplaces and wood burners.

The gel formula guarantees the quick and easy use of this stain remover, even on vertical surfaces.

It has delayed drying action, giving the solution a longer period of contact with the surface. This optimises the effectiveness of the treatment.

Furthermore, applying this smoke stain remover will not ruin treated surfaces.

What will you need?

To remove all smog and smoke stains, you only need Faber No Smog Gel. Never mix this smoke stain remover with other chemicals.

Although, you will need either absorbent paper towels or a clean cloth during the treatment.

Additionally, you will need a brush or spatula.

What surfaces are suitable for Faber No Smog Gel?

Faber No Smog Gel is a multisurface stain remover; as such, it is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces and materials.

While this stain remover is tough on smoke and smog residues, it offers surfaces with gentle treatment. No Smog Gel is also ready for use on delicate and acid-sensitive surfaces.

How to remove smoke stains from exterior surfaces with Faber No Smog Gel?

1. Apply the undiluted Faber No Smog Gel to the surface

Apply a thick layer of the stain remover without diluting it directly onto the surface using a brush or spatula. Ensure the entire area is evenly covered.

2. Wait for the solution to act and dry

Leave No Smog Gel to act on the surface until it becomes completely dry.

The weather conditions and temperature at the time of treatment affect drying time. As a result, in hot weather, make sure the solution remains damp for as long as possible. Doing this gives the stain remover more time to act.

The longer the solution is left to act and dry, the better.

3. Remove all residues

After the smoke stain remover has acted and dried, proceed to remove all residues with paper towels or a clean cloth. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and wait for it to completely dry.

For vertical surfaces or large areas, it is possible to remove residues with pressure cleaners or water jets.

4. Repeat the process

Repeat the process if your desired results have not been achieved.

For the best results, we advise applying this smoke stain remover so it covers an area larger than just the stain, such as an entire tile or room.
