LTP Mouldex | Why Should You Get Rid Of Mould?

Everyone knows that mould needs to be taken care of immediately, but do you know why?

In this blog, we will explain the reasoning behind cleaning mould, in-depth, with LTP Mouldex!

You can find moulds almost everywhere, although they are tiny organisms, both inside and outside and they rapidly spread very easily.

The source of moisture needs to be eliminated immediately before the mould begins to flourish rapidly and causes devastation to the living space.

The problems mould creates are greater indoors, consequently causing dire air quality problems.

Invisible airborne spores are carried by airflow which can affect the buildings’ materials as well as any personal possessions.

The more the exposure is repeated, the more the mould can increase a person’s sensitivity, therefore causing more severe allergic reactions.

Some moulds are known to produce toxins under certain conditions capable of causing disease and death.

LTP Mouldex helps majorly with the removal of mould stains caused by mould spores, fungus & algae from grouting.

This includes the surface of silicone seals and other dampness.

LTP Mouldex is formulated to cling to surfaces in aid of removing mould stains.

These stains are caused by mould spores, fungus, algae and moss from grouting damp or silicone sealed surfaces.

This bleaching action remover helps restore white grouting to its original colour.

First, before any application, prepare the surface correctly to be free from dust.

Subsequently, mask and protect surfaces that you are not curing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shake the spray bottle well.

Apply LTP Mouldex, holding 5-10cm away from the surface.

Allow the spray to settle for around 45 minutes.

After that, we advise adding a little water and agitating with a stiff brush to release dirt and grime.

Then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and a sponge, changing the rinsing water regularly to keep it clean.

Can be used on both natural stone and coloured grouting.

A 500ml bottle can cover an average surface of approximately 5-15m², all depending upon the size of the tile!

Avoid contamination of food during use.

Do not store in food processing or food storage area.

Avoid using use acid-based residual grout removers or other acid-based cleaners.

With silicones, stains or elastic grouting require longer treatment, in which case apply and leave on surfaces overnight.
