Lavina is the Superabrasive range of grinding and polishing machines, first launched in 2004. Initially, this range consisted of 4 electric machines. 

What began as 4 electric models has become an extensive range of all-encompassing propane and electric appliances. The Lavina range now makes up Superabrasive’s Pro Series, S, X, ELITE and newest Series 7. 

Even now, Lavina is continuing to evolve the design and benefits each machine offers for simple yet effective grinding and polishing. 

In fact, as of  2023, Superabrasive is launching their brand new Lavina S7 Grinders, featuring new designs to maximise efficiency and ease of use.

Setting out as a diamond powder manufacturer in Krun, Bulgaria 1987, Superabrasive eventually launched a new range of tools and accessories. These tools were made for concrete, stone fabrication and optical lens edging.

Lavina Series 7 

The Lavina Series 7 are brand new machines that implement the latest discoveries and technology. With this, each machine reaches a new level of functionality and reliability. Series 7 - Floor Grinder Features and Upgrades
We have made key changes in the new S7 generation that take Lavina grinders to the next level of operability and reliability.

Grinding Head  

The grinding head was the first component of the machines Lavina chose to upgrade for their Series 7. The grinding head sees enhanced and consistent performance thanks to several changes to its internal components. There are stronger time belts, seals, shafts, bearings and lighter pulleys. These components allow for efficient power transmission when grinding.

There is also a 2-piece aluminium main belt housing with a belt inspection cover to ensure longer service life without the need for maintenance.

Lavina also refined the planetary drive offering a more vigorous grinding with less maintenance. In addition, the planetary drive has an entirely new chain-driven design with no chain tensioner.

New Frame

Next, the newest grinding machines feature a new frame and weights. With these revisions, tool changes are now much simpler than before.

Now, the grinding head is isolated with rubber bushings to reduce vibrations for users.

Additionally, the Lavina S7  has the most intuitive handlebar for faster adjustability and more positions.

The new floor grinding machines also feature an internal storage compartment.

Lavina Series ELITE

The Lavina ELITE polishing machines possess an updated water system with 2 valves using water from a tank or another external water source. Water is delivered to the machine using gravity without the need for a pump or misting system. Thanks to the new water system, these machines excel in wet grinding. 

They also have a dust-proof grinding head with a low-friction chain gear planetary drive. With a strong defence against dust, these machines are much easier to keep clean and are sure to have an extended service life. 

On top of that, the Lavina ELITE showcases better dust collection efficiency when compared to older models of the Lavina floor grinding and polishing range. The efficient dust collecting comes from an adjustable skirt and flexible brush on the machine. The vacuum hose connection is also near the dust source.

On the Lavina ELITE machines, there are robust stainless steel cup holders and phone charging stations. 

To make the work area more visible during treatment, these floor polishing machines have LED lights in both the front and the back.
