Remove sealer from tile and stone surfaces with the appropriate equipment

First of all, you need SRP Sealing and Coating Remover. It is a multi-purpose, water-based stripping for stone surfaces. It works by dissolving and washing away any unwanted substances and stubborn residues left on surfaces after treatment.

Use to remove:
- Epoxy Grout Haze
- Urethane Coatings
- Synthetic Finishes
- Adhesives
- Paints

This sealing remover even gets rid of long-standing stains and large build-ups of grease.

SRP Pink pH Neutral cleaner is required for this treatment.

You will also need a scrub brush or rotary machine alongside this sealer and coating remover.

Additionally, you should have clean water, an applicator, a microfibre cloth and towels for this sealer removal treatment. You may decide to use a wet vacuum cleaner later in the treatment, but this isn’t a necessity if you want to use towels instead.

As a multi-purpose coating and residue remover, this solution is ready to use on many surfaces.

How to remove sealer from tile and stone surfaces?

1. Shake the bottle before use

Before even applying SRP Coating and Sealer Remover, the bottle must be well shaken.

2. Apply SRP Coating and Sealer Remover

Wet the surface with clean water. Apply a generous amount of the solution to the surface in areas of 5m2.

3. Spread the sealing and coating remover

Using your chosen applicator, evenly spread the product across the areas.

4. Allow the solution to dwell

Allow time for the coating remover to dwell on the surface. Wait for up to 1 hour depending on the level of contamination. Particularly stubborn residues and waxes will take even longer.

In some cases, you should leave the solution to dwell overnight, making sure to cover the surface in a sheet of plastic to prevent drying.

5. Agitate the sealer stripper

After letting the sealer stripping agent dwell on the surface, agitate it with a scrub brush or rotary machine.

6. Get rid of the residue

Get rid of any remaining residues with clean, absorbent towels or a wet vacuum cleaner.

7. Apply SRP Pink ph Neutral cleaner.

Apply SRP Pink to the work area diluted depending on the current condition of the surface

8. Wait a few minutes

Give the stone and tile cleaner 1 - 2 minutes to act.

9. Wipe the surface

Use a microfibre cloth to wipe the surface.
