WHY LTP GROUT AND TILE PROTECTOR?

I hope by now you have listened to us and sealed your porous stone surface with a suitable liquid impregnator such as LTP Mattstone or LTP Colour Intensifier.

If you desire the best results for your natural stone surface, then further protection will be necessary.

Once sealed, a top-up coat for additional protection with LTP Grout & Tile Protector will achieve your desired results.

As always, we recommend keeping the sealer, cleaner and protector to the same brand as they are specially formulated to work alongside each other.

THE IMPORTANCE OF LTP GROUT AND TILE PROTECTOR

LTP Grout and Tile Protector is an aerosol protector which forms a colourless barrier that helps further protect wall & floor porous grout joints, upon which are already sealed.

This is known as a top-up coat for natural stone and all other types of masonry surfaces.

This protective barrier disallows any penetration of water, dirt, oil, grease and limescale, making treated surfaces easier to keep clean.

LTP Grout and Tile Protector is ideal for use in wet rooms and shower enclosures.

Additionally, overspray on most surfaces will completely dissipate and not leave any hard to remove residue.

When sealing natural stone, due to its porous state, it is advisable to use a suitable liquid impregnator before finishing with LTP Grout And Tile Protector for the best results.

HOW TO USE LTP GROUT AND TILE PROTECTOR

First of all, the area(s) to be treated must be cleaned.

If the surface is newly grouted, then it should be left to cure for around 20-30 minutes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shake can well.

Proceed to then spray roughly 15-20 cm from the surface and spray in a sweeping motion.

Once left for 2-3 hours to cure, as recommended, traffic can then be allowed on the surface.

For wet areas including shower enclosures and wet rooms allow the sealer to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before use.

Also, test an area to determine whether a second or even third coat may be required.

COVERAGE

LTP Grout and Tile Protector can cover 600 linear metres, depending upon the size of the grout joint or the number of coats required with a 600ml spray bottle!

FURTHER MAINTENANCE

Do not use harsh abrasive cleaning agents.

Once completed, clean treated areas with water and a mild pH-neutral detergent like LTP Waxwash or LTP Stonewash.

In some instances, it may be necessary to use a stronger cleaner to remove stubborn surface marks, in which case you may need to re-seal treated areas.

WHAT TO AVOID

Use only in open or well-ventilated areas, with an open window and if possible use fans to circulate air.

We recommended that a suitable respirator mask be worn at all times.

Do not spray on acrylic or stained surfaces such as cabinets and stained timber skirting boards. Mask and protect these surfaces before application.
