LTP Stone Care Kit | What Works Best For Worktops & Fireplaces?

Have you ever wished to have all of the products sold together to complete the preparation, protection and maintenance of your stone surface all at once?

Here we have the LTP Stone Care Kit, an all in one care kit ideal for stone fireplaces and worktops.

It is specifically developed to assist with the preparation, protection and maintenance of all types of natural and artificial stone.

WHAT DOES THE LTP STONE CARE KIT INCLUDE?

The kit provides three key products, cleaner, sealer and maintenance:

- x1 LTP Stoneclean, also known as Stonefoam
- x1 LTP Stoneseal
- x1 LTP Stonecare

LTP STONECLEAN (STONEFOAM) | LTP STONE CARE KIT

This is the cleaner LTP Stone Care Kit of the set.

LTP Stoneclean will be used first as it is an intensive, fast-acting foaming cleaner that gives the surface and deep clean to remove all types of dirt and grease.

For this reason, it’s most effective for cleaning and renovating stone fireplaces and worktops.

Additionally, LTP Stoneclean can remove the build-up of wax and aftercare products.

It deep cleans which best conditions new surfaces before sealing or as an intensive cleaner for renovating existing surfaces.

LTP STONESEAL | LTP STONE CARE KIT

The next component of the LTP Stone Care Kit is the sealer, LTP Stoneseal!

LTP Stoneseal is an impregnating sealer that pierces the surface and acts directly in the heart of the stone.

Furthermore, it has a quick-drying, spray-on formula for stone fireplaces and worktops.

Soon after, LTP Stoneseal will form a colourless barrier and provide long-lasting protection of porous stone surfaces from water, dirt, oil, grease, soot and limescale.

LTP STONECARE | LTP STONE CARE KIT

The final product in the LTP Stone Care Kit is the aftercare, LTP Stonecare!

This will now be used to maintain your stone surface from here on out.

LTP Stonecare is a low-foaming aftercare cleaner that is gentle, even on the most delicate surfaces. This is a pH neutral product which therefore leaves a fresh, clean fragrance.

Above all, its spray-on formula allows it to be most effective on stone fireplaces and worktops.

Also, polished and unpolished natural and artificial stone is most suitable for the LTP Stone Care Kit.

As well as, limestone, granite, marble, travertine, slate, sandstone, quartz, terrazzo, basalt, concrete and all other types of masonry surface.

Even so, it can also be used on laminate and acrylic worktops.

LTP STONE CARE KIT APPLICATION

The areas to be treated must be prepared correctly, free from dust before application.

For this reason, mask and protect surfaces that are not to be treated.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shake all spray cans well beforehand.

LTP STONECLEAN APPLICATION

Firstly, apply LTP Stoneclean, holding 15-20cm away from the surface, in a sweeping motion and allow the foam to dissolve.

This should generally take between 5-10 minutes.

We would then advise adding a little water when agitating with an emulsifying pad or similar mild-abrasive pad, cloth or brush to help release the dirt and grime.

Additionally, rinse well with plenty of water, changing rinsing water regularly to keep it clean.

Though, if necessary, repeat this process.

LTP STONESEAL APPLICATION

Secondly, apply LTP Stoneseal, again holding 15-20cm away from the surface, in a sweeping motion.

Leave it for up to 5 minutes and then remove visible excess with an absorbent cloth.

Although, when dealing with a rough cut, tumbled, textured or riven surfaces, there's a little bit more to do...

Afterwards, test the area 30 minutes after application with a little water. If the water absorbs, another coat may be required.

Before allowing traffic, a 2-3 hour curing time is recommended upon completion.

Once the excess has been removed, buff with a soft lint-free cloth or machine.

LTP STONECARE APPLICATION

Finally, apply LTP Stonecare. This will be used for maintenance upon any spillages to occur on your stone surface.

Then, spray holding 20cm from the surface. Spraying, also wiping over with a clean dry cloth and leave to dry.

Whereas, when dealing with honed, smooth and polished surfaces, finish by buffing with a clean dry cloth.

LTP STONE CARE KIT COVERAGE

Each bottle in the LTP Stone Care Kit can cover an average surface of approximately 5-10m² with 250ml, all depending upon the porosity and the number of coats required.

WHAT TO AVOID USING THE LTP STONE CARE KIT

Do not spray onto painted, acrylic or stained surfaces such as cabinets and stained timber skirting boards. Mask and protect such surfaces before application.

Use only in open or well-ventilated areas. Hence, we recommended that a suitable respirator mask be worn at all times.

Overspray on most surfaces will dissipate, however on some surfaces it may leave a slight residue. Consequently, it should be wiped up within 5 minutes.

For wet areas including shower enclosures and wet rooms allow the sealer to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before use.

Extremely flammable aerosols due to its pressurised container: may burst if heated.

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and also other ignition sources.

Therefore, do not spray on an open flame or other ignition sources.

Similarly, do not pierce or burn, even after use.
