WHY LTP COLOUR INTENSIFIER AND STAINBLOCK?

Whilst also being an impregnating sealer, what separates LTP Colour Intensifier Stainblock is the finish it leaves once applied.

LTP Colour Intensifier Stainblock will enhance the natural colours on the stone surface and really intensify them to a new level.

Along with this, it leaves a slight matt effect on the stone which will make it more versatile for modern builds around it.

Another characteristic this sealer possesses is the strength of the protective layer it leaves behind, creating a strong resistance to liquids and dirt.

THE IMPORTANCE OF LTP COLOUR INTENSIFIER STAINBLOCK

LTP Colour Intensifier Stainblock is an impregnating sealer for natural stone, slate and other surfaces to give an enhanced matt finish.

It is specially formulated to act as strong resistance to further protect itself against water, oil grease and dirt, and better it allows the surface to breathe.

LTP Colour Intensifier Stainblock can be used for interior and exterior use on both wall and floor surfaces.

Its peak performance is used when in wet areas including bathrooms, wetrooms and swimming pool surrounds. Most suitable on floors that have no damp proof course.

Suitable for all types of natural and artificial stone, unglazed porcelain, sandstone, slate, marble, terracotta, quarry, brick and concrete.

LTP Colour Intensifier Stainblock is usually maintained with LTP Waxwash on floors and LTP Stonewash on walls.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

IMPORTANT NOTE: This impregnating sealer is very difficult to remove once hardened. Do not over apply.

Firstly, the surface to be treated must be completely clean, dry and free from contamination.

If necessary, first clean the floor with LTP Grimex and allow it to dry thoroughly.

Then, apply LTP Colour Intensifier Stainblock thinly and uniformly with a cloth, brush, sealant applicator pad or sponge.

Leave for 15-30 minutes before wiping over with a clean dry fluff-free cloth to remove all and any excess.

The surface must retain a natural finish after treatment.

Then proceed to clean any excess left on the surface that could oxidise to form an unsightly gloss varnish.

For stronger colour enhancement and in the case of more absorbent surfaces, further coats may be applied.

Allow at least 30-60 minutes before applying the further coat.

This product will dry after about two hours but will take a further three days to become fully resistant.

COVERAGE

For low porosity floors, 1-2 litres can cover 10m2!

For high porosity floors, 3-4 litres can cover 10m2!

AFTERCARE

Routinely sweep the floor and wash with LTP Waxwash.

Clean walls and work surfaces with LTP Stonewash Spray.

WHAT TO AVOID

Do not apply in direct sunlight or in a temperature exceeding 25˚C.

Don't apply on floors with underfloor heating on as the product may dry prematurely.

Do not allow surfaces to get wet and keep dry for a minimum of 3 days.

Use only in well-ventilated areas.
