When presented with such a range of aftercare cleaners, it can get very confusing on which one is best for you. By now you should know the importance of aftercare on your natural stone surface, if not we recommend reading our previous blog Is Aftercare Important?

In this blog, we will try to explain the difference between the main two cleaners that you should be debating for your stone floor. LTP Floorshine vs LTP Waxwash.

LTP FLOORSHINE

For the absolute best results protecting your surface, an after cleaner will play a crucial role to achieve this.

In our blog on LTP Ironwax, we briefly mentioned the aftercare involving LTP Floorshine.

We always recommend keeping the sealer and cleaner to the same brand as they are specially formulated to work alongside each other.

LTP Floorshine is ideal for use on surfaces that are protected with surface sealers like LTP Ironwax Satin, LTP Ironwax Gloss and LTP Glaze Protector.

THE IMPORTANCE OF LTP FLOORSHINE

Accidents will happen. You or others may spill a glass of coke. But with the help of LTP Floorshine, you can try to keep your surface in the best condition.

LTP Floorshine is a highly effective maintenance cleaner for tiled surfaces. It is specially formulated to be most effective for renovation on dull floors.

This aftercare cleaner both cleans and protects in one application, ideal for tiles, wood and laminate surfaces.

Regular use of LTP Floorshine will again also help to reinforce protection on tiled surfaces.

LTP FLOORSHINE VS LTP WAXWASH

It is a simple fact that cleaning with the right products will undoubtedly prolong the effectiveness of the sealer. Therefore, the natural stone surface's protection will also increase.

In the LTP range, there are up to 8 different cleaners with many being very specific to a particular surface.

So we can understand why this may confuse you, at first.

However, there are two that we are frequently asked what is the difference between them and when they should be using one or the other - LTP Floorshine and LTP Waxwash.

LTP Waxwash is specially designed to maintain a surface that has been sealed with an impregnating sealer. These sealers are as such: LTP Mattstone, LTP Mattstone H20, LTP Colour Intensifier, LTP MPG Sealer, LTP Linseed Oil and LTP Clear or Antique Wax.

Whereas LTP Floorshine is a cleaner which a renovating sealer is specifically used on areas treated with surface sealers like LTP Ironwax Satin or LTP Ironwax Gloss.

So before looking into any maintenance care, you need the history of what’s been applied to the stone surface first!
