Faber Aqua Stop is a solvent-based, water-repellent impregnator to provide deep-down, effective and completely invisible protection against water absorption and rising dampness on all absorbent surfaces. Faber Aqua Stop preserves treated materials against all of the problems linked to water absorption or rising damp: marks, the appearance of salts and efflorescence, algae, moss, mould, disintegration and surface spalling

Faber Aqua Stop will alter the appearance, tone or colour of the treated surface; it does not create surface films on account of its penetration capacity and therefore, it will not change the original breathability of the treated surface. Faber Aqua Stop can be used to protect porous, absorbent materials such as cotto during grouting and washing operations. Its water-repellent action drastically cuts the absorption of water and prevents grout from staining the surface of the material, which translates into easier washing processes

Faber Aqua Stop makes routine surface maintenance easier, as it limits a surface’s ability to trap dirt, preventing it from penetrating below the surface and attaching to the material. Faber Aqua Stop can be used as a water-repellent primer before applying a stain-proofing product: in this case, the product will boost both the effectiveness and durability of the stain-proof treatment

Coverage:
- Approximately 10-15 square metres, depending on the absorption level of the surface

Method Of Use:
- Thoroughly rinse the surface with clean water and allow it to dry
- Apply a thick, even layer of Faber Aqua Stop to cover the whole surface being treated, using a clean brush, cloth, roller or airless spray
- Faber Aqua Stop is fast drying, due to its high level of penetration
- Never let excess product build up on the surface, redistribute it around evenly
- If needed, apply a second coat about 1 hour after the first, following the same application process

Additional Information:
- Never apply Faber Aqua Stop to wet or heated surfaces
- Any adjacent surfaces not being treated with Faber Aqua Stop must be protected
- It is important to test the solution on an inconspicuous area before general application
