SRP Water ring protects surfaces when traditional sealing and impregnating agents can't. Typically, the previously mentioned floor surfaces are vulnerable to acidic foods such as citrus fruits, fruit juices, wine, coffee, soda and vinegar.

They are also sensitive to alkaline cleaning products and nearly all common household cleaning products. These substances cause "acid etching" or "chemical etching" which corrodes or etches the surface. As a result, dull spots, clear or light-coloured spots and glass rings appear.

Such defects aren't traditional stains and are unrelated to the sealing process. Etching is actual physical damage that removes the polished layer and eats into the stone. Due to this, a stone sealer doesn't prevent etching.

Method of use:
- Wet the area to be treated before applying the SRP Water Ring and Etch Mark remover using a spray bottle
- Apply a small amount of powder to area, resulting in a toothpaste like consistency
- Rub the paste in a circular motion using a microfibre cloth until the area is dry
- Spray a bit more water onto the surface
- Rub the same cloth into the surface in circular motions
- Buff the surface with back and forth motion using a clean cloth until the surface dries
