Suprashine Hybrid 5" Tooling For Light Grinding, Honing and Polishing

The Suprashine Hybrid 5” is perfect for restoring and upgrading concrete, terrazzo and natural stone floors due to its versatility. Excellent for eliminating stains, scratches and orange peels. 

Suprashine Hybrid 5” features a true metal-resin bond and can attach to any standard maintenance floor pad, either 17” or 20”,  with its inverted velcro attachment design. 

We strongly recommend the Suprashine Hybrid 5” to be used in quantities of 5 per grit, with water and low-speed machines to achieve the best results. Restoration made simple.

Coverage:
- Approximately 1000 square meters, based on 5 x 5” per grit

Grits:
Available in 100, 200, 400, 800, 1800, 3000 and 8500 (BUFF).

50-100 Grit: Prepares and cleans slightly damaged or stained floors. Removes deep scratches and orange peel. Prepares surface for sealer or coating.

200-400 Grit: Removes light scratches and orange peel, discolouration, stains and efflorescence. Prepares surface for polishing steps. Leaves a matt finish. 

800-1800 Grit: Use on smooth and polished floors that have lost their shine. Can be used for monthly maintenance to restore/improve shine.

3000-8000 Grit: Maximise gloss DOI on floors in good condition.

In the case of a ‘soft’ concrete floor, we recommend densifying after 50 or 100 grit to improve tool life, and gloss, and reduce dusting.

Application:
- Prepare the surface and sweep any dirt or dust present
- Attach Suprashine Hybrid 5” to the maintenance pad using its inverted velcro design
- Start the machine with a slow and steady speed in one direction
- Pass over again moving in the opposite direction - make 3-4 passes, and overlap 1-2”
- Auto scrub between each step
- Inspect the floor to ensure even cut

Use Suprashine Hybrid 5” with water and low-speed machines. Use auto scrubbers for best results - recommended minimum pressure 40-45 kg / 90-100 lbs.
