Marble is a magnificent choice for a variety of floors and countertops around your property. Whether it be flooring or countertops, on tabletops or fireplace mantles. However, even the best materials will fall victim to water damage or a change in their appearance eventually. This is especially true for marble because of its porous surface.
This is why you should polish marble surfaces. Not only will polishing marble floors and countertops maintain their amazing appearance, but it also protects them from internal water damage.

You will also need a spoon, squeegee mop and vacuum.
How to polish marble floors and countertops and restore a brilliant shine -
1. Pour the powder onto the surface
Pour 2 - 3 spoons of Faber A2 Mix onto the surface.
2. Add water
Add the necessary amount of water to the powder, creating a creamy paste that is easy to spread across the surface. Each spoonful of the marble polishing powder needs approximately 2 spoons of water.
3. Apply to the surface
Afterwards, apply the resulting solution to the surface with a single-disc machine.
The single-disc machine should be fitted with a white pad that is set between 150 and 200 r.p.m.
Be sure to evenly cover the entire surface area with the powder and water paste using the single-disc machine. Be sure to cover each section of the floor the same number of times.
4. Add more water
Throughout the process, the solution must remain creamy. To ensure this is the case, gradually add a small amount of water if the paste becomes too dry.
5. Buff the surface
Continue to buff the surface with the single-disc machine until it the maximum shine is achieved.
In order to check the results during the process, remove a small area of the travertine polishing powder paste using a squeegee mop.
