What is a colour enhancer?

The purpose of a colour enhancer is to revitalise the appearance of surfaces. Revitalising their appearance allows the surface to stand out and shine greater than ever before. A good colour enhancer will also protect surfaces from liquid damage and staining. This means there will be minimal alteration to the colour of surfaces treated with a colour enhancer. A lack of colour alteration means the money and effort needed for a colour enhancer will not go to waste.

  • Faber Deep Enhancer is the perfect purchase for anyone in need of a stone colour enhancement. It is a nice and easy colour enhancer that capable of treating ultra-compact surfaces, reviving them by enhancing both their colour and tone. Deep Enhancer will also add a matt finish and yet it doesn’t create a surface film.

  • Before colour-enhancing Treatment
  • Before beginning this stone colour enhancement process, it is important to protect nearby surfaces you don't wish to treat. In addition, the surface you intend to treat must be free of all dust, dirt and dry debris. 
 

  • 1. Apply Faber Deep Enhancer

  • Apply a generous amount of Faber Deep Enhancer to the surface, ensuring it is evenly spread across the surface using a tool of your choice. 
 

  • 2. Wait for 5 - 10 minutes

  • Allow 5 - 10 minutes for the colour intensifier to act. 
 

  • 3. Redistribute any excess

  • Spread any remaining excess evenly with the same tool initially used. Be sure to evenly cover the surface. 
 

  • 4. Remove the residues

  • After waiting another 20-30 minutes, begin removing the residues. To remove the residue, brush the surface using a standard floor polisher (1.5 HP, 175 rpm) with a white or lambswool pad or wool-cotton attachment. 
  • Alternatively, you can use an orbital or manual wheel with a white disc or pad or a compact felt or wool-cotton cloth to remove residue. Remove residue on tops, small areas or upright surfaces with these tools. 
  • It is important to remove all the excess; otherwise, problems of greasiness will arise in the future. 
  • To increase the colour enhancement, durability and stain-proofing that this treatment provides, it is possible to wait longer than 20 - 30 minutes before removing residue. You can wait up to 60 minutes before removing the residue. This allows Faber Deep Enhancer to completely penetrate compact surfaces. Although, doing this means the residues will be harder to remove.

Surfaces need to be between 5℃ and 40℃. Remember, never attempt to intensify and restore colour to stone surfaces that are wet or damp surfaces.  This nice and easy colour enhancer is certified for use with food.  This means it is suitable to be used on kitchen counters.  

After Treatment

This nice and easy colour enhancer will dry within 1 - 2 hours of initial application. Surfaces will be ready to use after 4 - 6 hours.  For the routine cleaning of surfaces treated with Faber Deep Enhancer, we advise the use of Faber Algafloor. However, we deep cleaning, we recommend you use Faber 30 or Faber Deterfug depending on the type of dirt. Remember that Deep Enhancers restores colour to light surfaces and for enhancing dark materials, use Faber Deep Enhancer Black.
